The Cog is a transport ship. Its armament is limited to the Small Cannon.
A small ship used for exploration and small trade, it is recommended for starting off or when bigger ships are unnecessary.
While any wooden vessel is fragile and vulnerable, its direction from other players is hidden on /craftlist
; they can only see its distance.
The Cog uses the Naval Direct Control mode. Direct Control mode (/dc
) is superior to manual movement during combat.
This means it will always cruise in the direction of its "front". If you try to cruise sideways, the craft will move diagonally in that direction instead.
The "front" of a Cog is determined in two ways.
