Androids are incredibly useful advanced machines, and require setup and configuration.
There exist three tiers of Androids, however not every android type is available in all three tiers.
There exist 5 Androids, and each have a distinct use.
Scripts are items that contain the instructions for Androids to operate. The Android's scripts can be configured in the Memory Core which has three options available: Edit Script, Create New Script, and Download Script.
The Android is paused when the Memory Core is accessed (start it again by clicking on “Start Script” in the Android's main menu).
Clicking on “Create New Script” creates a brand new script, which removes the previous script uploaded to the Android. Clicking on “Edit Script” lets you edit the Android's current script without removing it.
In the script screen, the two commands “Start Script” (begins the script) and "Repeat Script" (ends the script and repeats it) cannot be removed - all other commands can be edited and removed. To add the next instruction for the Android, click on “Add New Command” and choose the command.
Navigating the “Edit Script” menu:
Clicking on “Download Script” lets you view all the available scripts uploaded by players. You can choose to use any script listed there for the Android. To apply the script, click on the script you want to download.
To upload a script, click on “Upload Script” (bottom). Then type the script's name in chat (the message will be hidden away from other players). Your script will then be available on the “Download Script” list for players to download.
Warning: You cannot delete an uploaded script.
Androids require fuel for their operation. Fuel is manually placed in the Android's fuel slot.
Each tier of Android accepts different fuels, listed below.
Tier | Fuel | Fuel Efficiency |
---|---|---|
Normal Android | Wooden Planks, Wood Log, Charcoal, Coal, Blaze Rod, Kelp Block, Coal Block | Fuel efficiency increases from left to right. |
Advanced Android | Lava, Oil, Fuel, Biomass, Biofuel | |
Empowered Android | Neptunium, Uranium, Boosted Uranium |
Interfaces are special blocks that assist the operation of Androids. They are essential components in the complete automation of Androids.
Androids themselves cannot interact with Cargo, but Interfaces can. Androids can connect to a Cargo Network only through Interfaces. Interfaces can also receive items from hoppers, unlike other SlimeFun machines.
Interfaces need to be placed on either side of the Android. The Android's script has to contain the necessary instructions for the Interface and Android to interact with each other.
The Item Interface automatically stores items produced by the Android.
The Fuel Interface automatically provides fuel to the Android.
