The Nether Gold Pan is a resource tool in Slimefun. It allows players to sift Soul Sand for various resources: Blaze Powder, Ghast Tear, Glowstone Dust, Nether Quartz, and Nether Wart.
To use the Nether Gold Pan, hold it, look at a Soul Sand block, and right click. One of the 5 available Soul Sand products will drop on the ground.
Each of the 5 Soul Sand products has a random chance of dropping. In order of most common to least common product: Nether Quartz is most common, then Glowstone Dust, then Blaze Powder, then Nether Wart, and least common is Ghast Tear.
The Automated Panning Machine is the machine version of the Nether Gold Pan that can handle Soul Sand in the same way.
