Commands are a method of controlling and showing information on a craft in Movecraft. Commands can be used anywhere on the craft, as long as the player is piloting it. This makes them incredibly versatile.
Each craft falls under a craft class.
These commands are used for controlling a craft and can only be used after piloting it.
/pilot (craft class)
starts piloting the craft you are standing in/on (if the craft falls within its craft class' specifications).
/release
stops piloting the craft.
/rotate right
or /ror
rotates the craft about the player 90 degrees clockwise and /rotate left
or /rol
rotates the craft about the player 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
/cruise on
will cause the craft to automatically move in the direction the player is facing (cruise) until it stops due to fuel, being blocked, or having enough damages. The commands /cruise north
, /cruise south
, /cruise east
, /cruise west
enable cruising in a certain cardinal direction. /cruise up
and /cruise down
move the craft vertically up or down, respectively.
/cruise off
stops cruising.
/directcontrol
or /dc
activates Direct Control mode [Nations only].
/scuttle
sinks your piloted craft [Creative only].
These commands give you information on craft classes or piloted craft.
/contacts
detects other craft in the area.
The following Craft Information commands are exclusive to Nations.
/craftblocks (craft class)
opens an in-game menu showing all Allowed Blocks on Craft for the specified craft class, along with any potential limitations and requirements, when hovering over the blocks./craftblocks compare (craft class 1) (craft class 2)
opens an in-game menu showing all Allowed Blocks on Craft for craft class 1, that are not allowed for craft class 2 (useful for finding blocks to separate subcraft from larger craft, that can rotate/move)./craftblocks check (block name) (craft type)
checks whether a given block is allowed on the specific craft.
/craftcalc (craft class) (block size)
lists in chat the specified craft class's requirements (minimum blocks required, blue) and limitations (maximum blocks allowed, red) for the specified size. If no size is given, defaults to the minimum size for the craft class.
/craftcomposition (page)
or /craftcomp (page)
lists in chat your piloted craft's current blocks, their amount, and the percentage of all blocks that they
/craftlist
shows the direction and distance of all piloted crafts in your current world; colors will denote the relationship you have to the pilot—green for allied/friendly, white for neutral, red for enemy. Submarines specifically are always hidden from this command.
/craftstorage
opens a GUI that allows you to access every storage block on your craft.
/cancelrepair
stops all your active Repairs. Resources already used are not refunded (Nations only)
/dismount
exits Periscope view (Nations only).
/manoverboard
teleports you next to a valid Manoverboard sign or, if none are present, on top of the midpoint of your piloted craft. This cannot be used while combat-tagged.
/savedstates
shows a list of your saved Repair States with their name [Nations only].
/deletestate <name of repair state>
deletes a specified repair state [Nations only].
/loadstate <name of repair state>
loads a specified repair state to your WorldEdit clipboard [Creative only].
