Loyalty represents your commitment to a nation. It determines whether you are eligible to fight at sieges and assaults .
You can check your loyalties with /res loyalties
or /res loyalties <player name>

¶ Gaining and Losing Loyalty
There are two ways to gain loyalty: by ranking up, and playing normally.
Every Towny day you play more than 10 minutes , you gain 1 loyalty towards your current nation .
You can see when the next Towny day begins with /towny time
.
Leaving a nation will make you lose 1 loyalty towards that nation every day until you rejoin it.
The maximum loyalty you can have towards a nation is 20 , and the minimum loyalty is 0.
I start in a nation called "America".
On Monday, I play for 10 minutes. I gain 1 loyalty towards America.
On Tuesday, I play for 9 minutes. I gain no loyalty towards America.
On Wednesday, I leave America and join another nation, "Brazil".
I lose 1 loyalty towards America.
And if I play for 10 minutes then I will gain 1 loyalty towards my new nation, Brazil.
You can also gain loyalty towards your current nation by ranking up .

If a town is under siege but nationless, its residents do not need loyalty to fight.
