The Fighter is a combat aircraft. Its armament is the Fighter Gun. Like bombers, fighters can only operate near an Aircraft Carrier or Zeppelin, and must fly above y-level 62.
Fast and agile, fighters excel in recon and shooting down bombers. They can also provide close air support by strafing ground vehicles, naval vessels and concentrations of enemy infantry.

Direct Control Mode provides superior maneuverability to manual movement while flying.

/pilot Fighter while standing on an eligible Fighter. Alternatively, you may right click a sign on the craft that has
Fighter written on the first line.
Piloting a Fighter increases your render distance, until you release the craft.
The Fighter can fly no higher than 100 blocks above ground.
