The Cargo Ship is a transport ship. It is the largest and fastest out of all the merchant ships. Made of concrete, and allowing for a whopping 160 chests at its maximum size, the Cargo Ship makes trading safe and simple! This allows it to complete all Cargo Contracts.
Like other transport crafts, the Cargo Ship can quickly load and unload items using the cargo commands.
The Armed Merchantman, the Cargo Ship's smaller and armed cousin, disguises itself as a Cargo Ship on /craftlist and contacts.
¶ Controls
The Cargo Ship uses the Naval Direct Control mode. Direct Control mode (/dc) is superior to manual movement during combat.
This means it will always cruise in the direction of its "front". If you try to cruise sideways, the craft will move diagonally in that direction instead.
The "front" of a Cargo Ship is determined in two ways.
- If your craft has a Cruise sign, the "front" is opposite to the direction that the sign is facing.
- If your craft has no or multiple Cruise signs, the "front" is the direction you are looking at when piloting the craft

- Must be at least 5% Redstone Block
- Must be at least 40% Concrete
- No more than 2% of blocks may be Chests, Trapped Chests, Droppers or Barrels
- No more than 2% of blocks may be Hoppers

¶ Piloting
To pilot a Cargo Ship, you may use the command /pilot CargoShip while standing on an eligible Cargo Ship. Alternatively, you may right click a sign on the craft that has CargoShip written on the first line.

This craft is fueled by Coal, Charcoal, Blocks of Coal, and Blocks of Charcoal placed inside an on-board Furnace.
