Not to be confused with Movecraft's Cargo Mechanics
A Cargo Contract is a special type of Contract issued by the server that requires players to retrieve and move Cargo Bundles between towns using Movecraft vehicles ('crafts').
A Cargo Contract consists of the following elements:
The value of the Reward and Collateral is determined by the distance between the Collection and Delivery towns. Both of these towns will always be a designated Port.
One Cargo Contract is issued at the start of every even-numbered hour (e.g. 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, etc).
A Cargo Contract is completed as follows:

Cargo Contract on /contracts list
./contracts list
, or using /contracts sign [contract id]
./contracts deliver [contract id]
.All of these steps must be completed before the contract expires.
The following crafts can be built with enough chest space to complete Cargo Contracts:

Only the Armed Merchantman is capable of putting up meaningful resistance to pirates. However, losing any Cargo Bundle to an attack will prevent the contract from being completed, so it is best to avoid combat in the first place. Keep an eye on /craftlist
for nearby crafts and, if necessary, travel with an escort if entering a region known for piracy.
