The Cruiser is a medium-sized naval ship class. Although more lightly-armed than its larger cousin, the Dreadnought, the Cruiser is faster and more agile. It also possesses more firepower than the Destroyer, but lacks its anti-submarine capabilities. On Nations, the Cruiser is typically used as a screening and escort ship.
TNT Cannon Director signs can be used on the Cruiser to change the trajectory of TNT fired from the craft's dispensers, as well as modify its properties. Cruisers can also use torpedoes, albeit fewer than destroyers and submarines.
¶ Controls
The Cruiser will always cruise in the direction of its "front". If you try to cruise sideways, the Cruiser will move diagonally in that direction instead.
The "front" of the Cruiser is determined in two ways.
- If your craft has a Cruise sign, the "front" is opposite to the direction that the sign is facing.
- If your craft has no or multiple Cruise signs, the "front" is the direction you are looking at when piloting the craft.
Cruisers use the Naval Direct Control mode. Direct Control mode is superior to manual movement during combat.

- No more than 35% of the craft's blocks must be at or below the waterline
- Minimum block size of 3,000
- Maximum block size of 5,000
- Must be at least 5% Redstone Block
- Must be at least 35% Concrete
- No more than 35% of blocks may be (any) Terracotta or Reinforced Wood
- Terracotta and Reinforced Wood are the primary armor blocks. They have a higher blast resistance than normal when piloting the craft.
- No more than 7.5%% of blocks may be Glazed Terracotta
- Glazed Terracotta is the secondary armor block. It is weaker than Terracotta/Reinforced Wood but does not merge with turrets.
- No more than 0.25% of blocks may be Chests, Trapped Chests, Barrels
- No more than 0.25% of blocks may be Dispensers
- No more than 0.5% of blocks may be Lava

¶ Piloting
To pilot a Cruiser, you may use the command /pilot Cruiser while standing on an eligible Cruiser. Alternatively, you may right click a sign on the craft that has Cruiser written on the first line.

This craft is fueled by Coal, Charcoal, Blocks of Coal, and Blocks of Charcoal placed inside an on-board Furnace.
