Destroyers are versatile, medium-sized warships. Armed with torpedoes and 4-inch naval guns, the speed and agility of destroyers allows them to easily outmaneuver larger warships, such as dreadnoughts, in the hands of a skilled pilot.
They also specialize in anti-submarine warfare, being the only warship allowed to carry depth charges to destroy nearby submarines.
¶ Controls
Destroyers will always cruise in the direction of their "front". If you try to cruise sideways, your Destroyer will move diagonally in that direction instead.
The "front" of the Destroyer is determined in two ways.
- If your craft has a Cruise sign, the "front" is opposite to the direction that the sign is facing.
- If your craft has no or multiple Cruise signs, the "front" is the direction you are looking at when piloting the craft.
Destroyers use the Naval Direct Control mode. Direct Control mode is superior to manual movement during combat.

¶ Block requirements and limitations
- No more than 35% of the craft's blocks can be at or below the waterline
- Minimum block size of 2,000
- Maximum block size of 4,000
- Must be at least 5% Redstone Block
- Must be at least 35% Concrete
- No more than 25% of blocks may be (any) Terracotta or Reinforced Wood
- Terracotta and Reinforced Wood are the primary armor blocks. They have a higher blast resistance than normal when piloting the craft.
- No more than 7.5% of blocks may be Glazed Terracotta
- Glazed Terracotta is the secondary armor block. It is weaker than Terracotta/Reinforced Wood but does not merge with turrets and so can be used as their base.
- No more than 0.7% of blocks may be Coal Blocks (used for torpedoes)
- No more than 0.18% of blocks may be Obsidian (used for depth charges)
- No more than 0.3% of blocks may be Chests, Trapped Chests, Barrels
- No more than 0.25% of blocks may be Dispensers

¶ Piloting
To pilot a Destroyer, you may use the command /pilot Destroyer while standing on an eligible Destroyer. Alternatively, you may right click a sign on the craft that has Destroyer written on the first line.
Piloting a Destroyer increases your render distance to 10 chunks maximum, until you release the craft.

This craft is fueled by Coal, Charcoal, Blocks of Coal, and Blocks of Charcoal placed inside an on-board Furnace.
